Are You Getting the Most Out of Your Salon’s Marketing Brochure?

Client and stylist looking at brochure

Do you have a brochure for your salon? Most salon owners do. Brochures are important because they give potential clients the opportunity to learn why they should choose your salon. But here’s the real question – is your brochure effective? One strategy to make your brochure effective is to consider it as a marketing tool that helps you stand out from the competition.

At Be Inspired Salon, we have a multiple page brochure that’s always readily available. It showcases our space, talent, and services. We also hand out these brochures at events like beauty expos and wedding shows. While a brochure may seem simple, it’s important to our salon that we treat each event as a marketing opportunity. That’s why we put so much effort into our brochures; our brochures are comprehensive, stylish, and printed on high-quality paper. We want to make sure that if people are going to compare salons, that our salon is dominating the competition in every single way.

What I want you to take away from this is that you should consider your brochure an opportunity to market the heck out of your salon, and as a way stand out from the competition. Your brochure should include the obvious – your location, services, prices, and contact information, but it can also include so much more! You can highlight your salon space, your stylists, special VIP programs, local partnerships – I can go on, but you get the point. And consider having a professional designer lend a hand. People will judge your brochure by the way it looks, so don’t kick yourself out of the race with an ugly cover!

Hopefully, you’re inspired to take your brochure to the next level. If you are looking for more advice or would like to see an example of a brochure, email us at ContactUs@meetyourstylist.com.
