How It Works / A Step-by-step Overview

Step 1: Sign Up Your Salon!

You sign up your salon for Meet Your Stylist, a custom survey link for your salon’s website that matches clients with your stylists.

You must have at least 5 stylists in order to join.

The sign up process is pretty intuitive and typically takes about 15 minutes. During the sign up process, you’ll create your own custom link.

When your sign up is complete, you’ll set up your account.

We’ll send you an email with reminders for next steps and a link to our Quick Start Guide that has logos and everything else you need to get started.

To your account, you’ll add:

Your salon’s logo
Link for online booking if applicable
Salon phone number
Salon Email Address
Social Media Links

This info is displayed when clients see their matches, they will be encouraged to book with one of them via online booking, phone call or they may want to check out pictures of your work on social media.  What you share is your preference.

Once you add your stylists to your account, they’ll receive an email to set up their profile which will allow them to take their survey, upload a picture and add a brief bio.

NOTE: Salon owner’s preference- some salon owners want to mandate which photos and bios the stylists use and some are lenient. This will depend on your vibe and either way is cool. For this reason, you’ll have full access to view your stylist’s bios and photos. Also- these are the only aspects of the matching tool that the Stylists will be able to access. At any given time, you can add or disable stylists on your account.

Once you have completed your account details and a minimum of 5 of your stylists have finished their profiles, your link will go live! You can monitor the status of your stylist’s profiles in the admin interface.

We want to reinforce that Meet Your Stylist is an ongoing customer service, marketing & retention tool. Similar to someone starting a new healthy lifestyle in order to lose weight, the results will not happen overnight. But similar to any positive compound effect, the results will continue to build each month, and each year.

Meet Your Stylist gives clients a connection to our brand and our stylists. They actually follow through with making an appointment. They don’t just move along to the next bio. It really drives them to follow through with making an appointment with the stylists they’re matched with. Everyone is loving Meet Your Stylist. I would say at the minimum we have two people take our MYS survey per HOUR. When we open our email, it’s just full of Meet Your Stylist. We have all these new people that have taken the survey.
